Learn@UW Student Orientation:
How to Print Course Content

To Print a Single Page

Print this topic Click this graphic icon in your Content Toolbar (see Navigation) to send the current page to your printer. Most students prefer to use this icon over the normal browser-menu Print command, which would attempt to print the Learn@UW navigation features you see on the screen, leaving very little space on the paper for the actual course content.

To Print Multiple Pages or the Entire Course

Learn@UW offers a unique and powerful tool for printing multiple course pages, such as an entire unit or even the entire course, as one continuous document.

Step 1: To access this tool, click the Content link in your course navigation bar (see Navigation). On the right side of the first screen (a table of course contents), you will see a print "Print" icon and link. Click it.

Step 2: Select the parts of the course you would like to print. You can select individual pages, or you can quickly select entire course sections by checking the boxes of the unit titles. You can even select the entire course by checking the box at the very top of the listing.

Step 3: Click the Print this topic icon which is located both at the top or the bottom of that screen.

Step 4: A new window pops open which includes a "Print" button. If your browser blocks pop-up windows, you will have to choose to permit pop-ups from Learn@UW.
